IF I COULD START AGAIN

Lighter luggage and more ice cream

This life is a test. Just an ordinary test. If it were a real life, you would receive further instructions on where to go and what to do! IF I COULD START MY LIFE AGAIN I would allow myself to make more mistakes next time. I would live more calmly. I would act more foolishly than I have this time. I would take fewer things seriously. I would rely more on luck. I would travel more. I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers. I would eat more ice cream and fewer beans. Perhaps I would have more real problems, but fewer imaginary ones. You have probably realised that I am one of those people who live sensibly and healthily, day after day, hour after hour. Yes, I have had my shining moments. If I could live again, I would have more of those moments. In fact, I would try to have nothing else. Only moments. One after another, instead of living so many years day by day. I was one of those people who never went anywhere without a thermometer, a hot-water bottle, a raincoat and a parachute. If I could start all over, I would travel lighter next time. If I could begin my life again, I would walk barefoot from early spring until late autumn. I would dance more. I would ride more merry-go-rounds. I would pick more daisies. Nadine
